The AML Program is designed to help monitor, detect, prevent, and report financial crimes and suspicious activities.

These programs are developed with a Risk based approach that ties to Piptles overall Risk Management approach.

Who is AUSTRAC?

AUSTRAC is an Australian Government Financial Intelligence Agency responsible for detecting, deterring, and disrupting criminal abuse of the financial system to protect the community from serious and organised crime.

What is Money Laundering?

Money Laundering is a term used to describe the concealment of illegally obtained money, typically by means of transfers to foreign banks.
What is Counter-Terrorism Financing?
In simple terms Counter-Terrorism Financing involves criminals funding activities with the intention that they should be used to carry out a terrorist act by a terrorist or a terrorist organisation.

As we take managing risk very seriously at PIPezi we look to limit users from countries that are deemed to be high risk for instances of money launching and terrorism funding. The Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006, lists each of the following countries as declared to be a prescribed foreign country to be restricted for the purposes of that Act. As such we do not accept any registration of users or any membership from persons residing in any of these listed countries or having provided identification including passports from these countries:
